Tour’s Program:

Day 1:
Malta Airport Pick-Up. Today you will be picked up at the Malta Airport upon arrival and transferred to your accommodation in St. Julian’s for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day (depending on your arrival time) at your leisure to relax, explore, and get settled in. Overnight in St Julian’s.

Day 2:
Valletta Day Tour. Today’s guided tour through the streets of the Maltese capital will allow you to discover the beauty and charm of the fortified city built by knights in 1566. The Order of St. John ruled over Malta for 268 years and left a unique cultural legacy of which Valletta is the prime example. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Grand Harbour from the Upper Barracca Gardens and visit St. John’s Co-Cathedral, housing some of the beautiful arts and architecture in the world. Stroll down Republic Street to see the Grand Master’s Palace and St. George’s Square before watching the Malta Experience, an audio-visual show that recounts these micronations rich and stunning history. Overnight in St Julian’s.

Day 3:
Mdina Day Tour. Today you will journey to the center of the island for a tour of the medieval fortified city of Mdina, Malta’s former capital. Wander through narrow, winding streets to breathtaking lookout points that allow you to view the entire island. Discover incredible architecture and rich history as you walk the streets of this ancient city before leaving Mdina through the famous Greek’s Gate. we will make a stop at the early Christian catacombs of Rabat before continuing to the stunning cliffs of Dingli. After enjoying lunch we will continue to the San Anton Botanical Gardens, where you can also catch a nice view of the nearby Presidential Palace. Visit a craft center and one of Europe’s largest domes before returning to your accommodation for overnight.

Day 4:
Malta Free Day. Enjoy a full free day to explore this amazing micro-country on your own. Visit the museums, wander the charming city streets, and treat yourself to delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Overnight in St Julian’s.

Day 5:
Gozo Day Trip. Today you will take a ferry to reach Mġarr harbour on Gozo, where you will immediately get in touch with this smaller island’s unique atmosphere. Visit the megalithic temples of Ggantija, the oldest freestanding monuments in the world, predating even the Egyptian pyramids. Next, we will visit the medieval citadel of Victoria, the fjord-like Bay of Xlendi, and the inland sea of Dwejra. Marvel at the lush countryside and admire the beautiful handicrafts of the island before returning to Malta for overnight.

Day 6:
Hagar Qim Temple, Limestone Heritage & Market Tour. Today’s tour starts with a visit to one of Malta’s oldest limestone quarries. Next, you will learn about Malta’s ancient history at Hagar Qim, Malta’s main prehistoric site with beautiful views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. we will continue to Wied iz-Zurrieq, where you can take an optional (weather permitting & at extra cost) boat ride to the stunning Blue Grotto. After having lunch we will drive through local vineyards to the charming fishing village of Marsaxlokk where you can stroll through the charming local waterfront market. Our last stop of the day is the ancient cave at Ghar Dalam where archaeologists unearthed evidence that Malta was once a part of the European landmass. Overnight in St Julian’s.

Day 7:
Malta Airport Drop-Off. Today you will say goodbye to this incredible island as you are transferred to the airport for your outbound flight. We wish you safe travels.

No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 60 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount for this tour, but the deposit fee of 30% is non-refundable.
